Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber is Composer in Residence 2025/26 in the Musikdorf Ernen. As part of her residency, the Swiss-French composer will be working on her works «Papier brouillard» and «Toccata» with Valais pianist Vivien Heinzmann. According to the composer, «Papier brouillard» is a ‘danced evaporation» that has been «passed through a coffee filter» of No. 9 from Beethoven's 11 Bagatelles, which is almost a Chopin waltz.
Matching the music of Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber, Vivien Heinzmann has chosen two great cornerstones of French piano music, the music of Jean-Philippe Rameau and Maurice Ravel.
