The matinee concert on 1 August takes a look at Switzerland's musical history. Frank Martin and Arthur Honegger show how intertwined the influences of Germany and France could be. The composer Marguerite Roesgen-Champion, on the other hand, stands for the total devotion to the French-speaking and cultural area, while Paul Juon, as a composition professor in Berlin, stands for German-speaking musical culture. In addition, there will be contemporary works by Helena Winkelman and Fritz Hauser.
