Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto for Violin in G minor RV 319
Duration approx. 85 minutes, no interval
The programme of Baroque Concerto 4 takes us from Rome via Venice and Dresden to London – a route that Corelli's famous "Folia" also travelled at lightning speed in 1700.
Virtuoso wind chamber music, a sonata in the stile antico, a representative overture suite from Dresden and an Ernen debut: concertmaster Ada Pesch plays a solo concerto for the first time in Ernen – by Antonio Vivaldi, father of all violin concertos, of course!
