Mission Statement

The Musikdorf Ernen is a large music festival in a small mountain village. Away from the urban hustle and bustle, in the tranquillity of nature, people find time to regenerate, to reflect and the space for new ideas. 
The Musikdorf Ernen is a holistic experience. The fascinating view of the valley is part of the concert experience, as are the regional culinary delights and the personal conversations in the trusting, familiar atmosphere.

What we dedicate our best efforts to every day

We create a festival that gives our audience unique concert experiences. We are building a music festival with stable roots and strong impact. We want this unique place to remain synonymous with inspired and inspiring concerts. Our goal is to make Ernen and its music festival flourish even more.
We organise outstanding concerts for affordable prices. Music is for everyone. It enriches people as individuals and the society as a collective. We are happy if you – our audience – are touched, excited and enriched by what experience at the events in the Musikdorf.

We keep the inspiring spirit of the festival's founder György Sebők in mind and try to reflect it in today's world. In doing so, we are particularly guided by Sebők's commitment to young musicians, his humble and warm-hearted humanity and his search for a deep understanding of music.
