Arrival & accommodation

Ernen is accessible all year round by public transport or by car.

By public transport: Reach Ernen via Brig to Fiesch, where you can connect with the post bus to Ernen and the Binntal. With some international travel providers, the last section (Fiesch-Ernen, approx. 7 minutes) cannot be purchased. You can buy this ticket directly on the bus.
After the evening concerts, thanks to Musikdorf Ernen's concert bus service, you can easily get to your accommodation in the Binn valley (Binntal), or up the Goms valley in the villages between Fiesch and Oberwald, or by Concert Bus to Fiesch and from there by train down the valley towards Brig and Visp.
Attention: The concert bus does not run the whole year, please see the schedule / exceptions!

By car: The Furka (Realp-Oberwald) and Lötschberg (Kandersteg-Goppenstein) car transport stations are in operation all year round. Parking spots are available in Ernen.

Accessibility

All the concert locations at Musikdorf Ernen are wheelchair accessible – but not all the seats. Please get in touch with us in time and inform us about special needs, ideally already during the reservation process. We are happy to help and to enable a smooth concert visit for everybody.

Accomodation

Would you like to stay overnight for the concerts in the Musikdorf Ernen? Or perhaps for a week or two – or even the whole summer! There is a wide range of accommodation available in Ernen and the surrounding area. Choose from simple lodgings to luxurious 5-star apartments. Those who prefer to be served can choose one of the hotels in Ernen and the neighbouring villages.

The Concert Bus brings you back to your accommodation in the Binntal after the concerts.
