Outstanding female composers from the past whose music deserves to be rediscovered!

From 2026 onwards, the Musikdorf Ernen festival will have another focus. Each concert season, an outstanding female composer from the past will be selected and presented to the audience throughout the festival in concerts and introductory events.

This makes it clear that female composers who have left behind a broad and high-quality body of work have been around for a long time, and it is finally time to discover them in the concert hall!
