The jazz concerts at Musikdorf Ernen are closely linked to Charl du Plessis. The exceptional South African pianist has mastered numerous styles of jazz. He also enjoys taking classical pieces or pop songs and presenting them in surprising new versions, always with a jazzy twist. Charl du Plessis performs in the Musikdorf Ernen as a soloist and with his Charl du Plessis Trio, often accompanied by other musicians (such as Rachel Harnisch or Matthew Hunt recently).

The Musikdorf Ernen also presents renowned and up-and-coming pianists in other jazz concerts.
