This concert programme focuses on the flow of water, ranging from the gentle trickling of an Alpine mountain spring (Franz Liszt's inspiration for “Au bord d'une source” on his journey through the Goms) to the roaring waves of Claude Debussy's La Mer.
It also includes Bedřich Smetana's well-known and popular piece ‘The Moldau’ in a rarely heard version for piano four hands, as well as the fascinating percussion sounds of Per Nørgård.
