This concert can be heard as a musical concert programme about meditation and the flow state, or as a meditation event in which we free our consciousness through music and experience a flow state.

All the works in this symmetrically structured programme have a special tranquillity, beginning and ending with the vast ocean of A minor sounds in Arvo Pärt's Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten.

John Cage's work 4'33'', filled with absolute silence, is at the heart of this programme. A few years before 4’33’’, Cage wrote his piano piece Dreams, which aims to achieve a similar inner calm as the famous piece of conscious absence of deliberately produced sounds, from which a spontaneous musical stream of consciousness arises in our concert with Jordi Carrasco Hjelm's free improvisation, created in the moment.
