The last of the six Festkonzerte at the Kammermusikfest 2026 takes us into the world of night and dreams, quite obviously in Antonín Dvořák's beautiful Notturno and Franz Schubert's song.

Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber's piano trio Les roses heroïques fits perfectly into the image of a calmly gliding dream with refined textures and gently (like moonlight) shining harmonies.

Mel Bonis described her piano quartet, premiered in 1927, as her musical testament. It is music full of vitality and sensuality, beginning with the deeply felt chorale of the elegantly singing first movement. Particularly beautiful is the third movement with its immense, dreamy melodic lines, which ends in spherical tranquillity.

Camille Saint-Saëns' piano quartet, composed a few years after the Franco-Prussian War, seems to be a dreamlike vision of reconciliation, marked by Saint-Saëns' sympathy for the German composers Bach and Schumann.
