Following her acclaimed recitals in recent years, German pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati returns to the Musikdorf. All of the works are connected with flow or water: clearly in Blomenkamp's case, and in Bach's through the flowing movements and broken chords.
Mozart's Rondo is a Siciliana and its rocking movement is also reminiscent of water. And apart from the sparkling runs in Schubert's great Sonata in A major, it is the second movement in particular that seems like a sombre, almost mystical barcarolle.
