We will pick you up!

With the concert bus to the Musikdorf Ernen

A concert bus runs from Oberwald to Ernen for all concerts from Saturday, 11 July, to Saturday, 29 August 2026, (please note exceptions!). 15 minutes after the end of the concert, the bus returns to Oberwald via Fiesch railway station. There is no need of a reservation for the concert bus.

Thanks to the support of the Binntal Landscape Park Tourism Association, the Aletsch Arena and Obergoms Tourismus AG, this offer is free of charge.

Exceptions (for Oberwald–Ernen and back)

  • On Saturday, 8 August, the bus will bring you to the concert at 6pm. The return will depart after the concert on the Village Square (begins at 8.45pm), departure time approx. 9.30pm. There is no bus after the concert at 6pm.
  • No bus for the Festkonzert 5 in Brig on Monday, 10 August 2026
  • For the Festkoncert in Brig, on Monday, 10 August 2026, instead of the Oberwald-Ernen route, a bus will depart at 7pm from Ernen to Brig and back to Ernen after the concert.
  • No bus for the organ recital on Friday, 21 August 2026
  • During the "piano compact" weekend the bus only departs to and after the piano recitals 1 (Thursday, 27 August, 8pm), 2 (Friday, 28 August, 8pm) and 4 (Saturday, 29 August, 8pm).

With the concert bus back to Binn

15 minutes after the end of the concerts from Friday, 3 July to Saturday, 29 August 2026, a bus will depart from Ernen to Binn. 

Exceptions (Ernen–Binn)

  • During the "Chamber Music Compact" weekend the bus only departs after the chamber concerts 1 (Friday, 3 July, 8pm) and 4 (Saturday, 4 July, 8pm).
  • On Saturday, 8 August, the bus will depart after the concert on the Village Square (begins at 8.45pm), departure time approx. 9.30pm. There is no bus after the concert at 6pm.
  • No bus after the Festkonzert 5 in Brig on Monday, 10 August 2026
  • No bus after the organ recital on Friday, 21 August 2026
  • During the "Piano Compact" weekend the bus only departs after the piano recitals 1 (Thursday, 27 August, 8pm), 2 (Friday, 28 August, 8pm) and 4 (Saturday, 29 August, 8pm).
