Since his debut in the Musikdorf Ernen in 2013, Dasol Kim - laureate of the Concours Géza Anda 2012 - has repeatedly played his way into the hearts of Ernen audiences with his subtle interpretations.
In this programme, Dasol looks back on his past performances in the Musikdorf: Dasol played Schumann's «Davidsbündlertänze, written «in the most beautiful excitement» and in a state of inspired elation, in his debut concert in 2013. He played the Piano Sonata in A flat major op. 110, which ends in a triumphant hymn, and the brilliant Grande Polonaise in his performances as part of «Piano Compact» in 2016 and 2017.
Dasol played the dreamlike Impromptu in A flat major at his recital in August 2021, proving that he is a great Schubert interpreter.
