As part of its residency at the Musikdorf Ernen, the Clara Trio will present a concert featuring Ludwig van Beethoven's famous ‘Ghost Trio’, Joseph Haydn's intimate Piano Trio E minor and Josef Suks youthful Piano Trio in C minor.
In between, Mel Bonis' diptych Soir – Matin, composed in 1907, bridges the gap between the grand romantic melodies of ‘Soir’ (reminiscent of Bonis' mentor César Franck) and the enchantingly dazzling morning atmosphere of ‘Matin’.
